Job Description

The Production Coordinator manages the day to day print production activity and trafficking for all static media. This person is well-versed in prepress quality checks, extremely organized and a very clear communicator. They are able to work well under pressure. No task is too big or too small.


Essential Job Functions: 

  • Manage print workflow by communicating with various departments and vendors daily; ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
  • Log and update project tracking document as new jobs come in, change and are completed
  • Check files for quality and size, send art to vendors and communicate with sales on status
  • Coordinate all print production projects and serve as a liaison to answer questions regarding production, installation, and delivery
  • Create estimates and provide projected costs for print production and installation for new and current properties

  • Review and approve all PPS department invoices

  • Comfortable with continuously following up with individuals to meet deadlines on outstanding art or invoices
  • Coordinate all Mall Directory jobs from start to finish
  • Compile and reconcile monthly number reports
  • Update spec sheets and pricing documents when necessary


  • College degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in production or a similar position in a related field
  • Excellent technical skills in trafficking, production coordination and quality assurance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Must be a team player and a quick learner
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Exhibits good decision making
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Satisfaction from understanding a project from all angles, not just the angle they are responsible for.
