“Wait with a Mate” in Melbourne

Melbourne non-profit The Lost Dogs’ Home treated train riders to virtual games of fetch while they awaited their commutes during its recent “Wait with a Mate” campaign. The playful experience involved built-in sensor technology that could recognize a participants’ throwing motion, triggering the digital throw of a ball on screen. A virtual golden retriever fetched the ball, after which, an actual tennis ball would be dispensed with information about adopting a new mate!
