Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Arlington,VA
Description:
  • Maintenance: Inspects all advertising fixtures in assigned areas to determine maintenance needs. Investigates complaints about advertising fixture conditions. Supervises and coordinates Maintenance Provider work activities during the cleaning, servicing and repairing of advertising fixtures to deliver the highest level of quality and safety to our customers, the Airport Authority and the Mall Management. Manages an inventory of materials and equipment required to complete all work. Confers with technical support staff to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues. Prepares bi-weekly work schedules and priorities for review by Operations Director. Updates maintenance logs every 24hrs with daily maintenance information for reporting to Operations Director and to ensure that the JCD inventory database (Monitor, Indigo) is all the time totally up-to-date. (60%)
  • Posting: Gathers and submits all proof of performance photos to the operations support staff in a timely manner. Ensures the accurate and timely posting of advertising campaigns within assigned areas. Ensures that all advertisements are illuminated and displayed in their assigned units for maximum exposure. (20%)
  • Team Management: Supervise, motivate and coordinate Maintenance Technicians. Schedules and prioritizes their work assignments. Identifies training needs and ensures training is obtained. (20%)
Tools and equipment used:
  • Desktop/lap-top with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS project (project management software), Indigo, Monitor.
  • Good understanding of blueprints, electrical and mechanical specifications and diagrams
  • Working conditions/degree of effort required.
  • Balanced time between office and Field Operations at all designated Airport/Mall properties.
  • Travel between all Mall properties, all Airports, with after-hours and overnight installations
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 3 to 5 years maintenance experience that includes 2 years of management experience
  • -OR-
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 to 10 years maintenance experience that includes 3 years of management experience.
  • Strong experience in planning and preparing work schedules for crews and maintenance subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.
  • Ability to monitor and control a material and equipment inventory.
  • A keen eye for detail, quality and safety
  • Strong experience dealing with external partners such as Mall Management teams and Governmental entities such as Airport Authorities
  • Strong ability to work a flexible schedule and be on call for emergencies when required.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills needed in order to diagnose and anticipate potential technical problems, and implement solutions and corrective actions.
Specialist training required:
  • Some engineering back-ground (electrical, mechanical)

  • Self-starter, disciplined, very well organized, detail and quality-oriented
  • Decision-maker, hands-on and pragmatic, very proactive and reactive into an environment under high pressure with non-negotiable schedule and deadlines.

Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst
Location: New York
Description: Summary of Position

The Junior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to perform financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and related activities for JCDecaux North America.
Job Responsibilities

• Report and analyze sales activity, on a daily basis and weekly basis, to local management and to corporate headquarters
• Assist in the preparation, analysis and coordination of the Annual Budget, Monthly Flash and Monthly Latest Estimate
• Monthly analysis of employee travel and entertainment expenses versus budget and versus prior year
• Preparation of monthly costs by department vs. budget and vs. prior year
• Preparation and distribution of monthly revenue reports to local management and external market research agencies
• Assist in the production of both the monthly financial review and the quarterly sales review (distributed to Executive Committee)
• Prepare and maintain the monthly financial binder which includes Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and P&L commentary
• Report and analyze the Account Executives’ performance on a weekly basis (distributed to local management)
• Completion of special projects, as they arise

Requirements: Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; preferred in Accounting and/or Finance
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, charts, and graphs)
• Strong knowledge of business applications (e.g. MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn financial software (e.g. SAP, Cartesis, and Oracle)
• Well organized, diligent and able to deliver excellent results within established timeframes while managing multiple priorities
• Show commitment to assignments, work in a team setting, and desire to grow with the Company
• 1 to 2 years Accounting experience or success in a progressive college internship program

Description: Advertising sales within MA/MW region. Prospect and sell new clients. Renew and up sell existing clients. Includes direct and agency contacts at all decision-making levels.
Ability to travel 30% each month out of office within territory, heavy phone sales.

• Outstanding people skills with an ability to listen to all prospects needs and assembling a convincing media plan is mandatory.
• Excellent writing and verbal communications skills are a requirement.
• Working in an independent environment and be responsible for his/her own sales.
• Must be fingerprinted for post-security airport access. This is required in order to tour prospective advertisers.
