The JCDecaux Daily Life Study is a time-use survey based on the daily lives of adults and children. By collecting hourly data over a continuous 6 month period, JCDecaux has gained a comprehensive 24/7 insight into the way people use their time across the day, both when in home and when out-of-home. Through the Daily Life Study JCDecaux can understand contemporary patterns of time-use and identify primary and secondary activities at any point in a day. By combining the diary data with further questions relating to lifestyles, attitudes to Outdoor advertising, attitudes to general advertising, mood and general interests, JCDecaux has developed a powerful tool.
