OOH ads amplify Climate Week events

As the first OOH media company to join the RE100 – a coalition of companies committed to achieving 100% renewable energy –  JCDecaux is proud to serve as an official media sponsor for Climate Week 2024, hosted by the Climate Group between September 22-29 in partnership with the United Nations General Assembly.

JCDecaux ad faces across Manhattan are enabling event organizers to highlight key speakers taking part in some of the hundreds of official panels, discussions, and activities, while enabling sustainability-focused advertisers to take part in the larger climate conversation.

Brands showcase climate solutions and innovation

As business leaders, policymakers and global representatives gather in NYC to accelerate climate progress, a comprehensive network of digital street furniture screens including coverage near the UN is reaching event attendees and the public at large in North America’s most important urban market and center of industry.

Several advertisers within the climate sector and beyond are leveraging JCDecaux OOH to align themselves with this high-profile event and reach decision makers in charge of facilitating a sustainable climate future.

Just as EcoLab enables companies to turn their climate goals into climate action through smart water management, Watershed helps to decarbonize enterprises through their accessible sustainability measurement and reporting platform.

Real estate services giant JLL is taking part in an event alongside Carrier and hosted by the Financial Times to discuss the relationship between cities, real estate and cost-effective decarbonization. Similarly, Patch is hosting a series of their own events where they’ll leverage their expertise to advise partners, stakeholders, and customers on their own decarbonization strategies.

L’Oréal is an official supporter of this year’s Climate Week NYC, and as such is using JCDecaux OOH to share their own climate initiatives. Meanwhile, Horizon Media is hosting an official Climate Week NYC panel at their Manhattan office on the importance of building a sustainable workforce. Their DOOH activation encourages viewers to assess their own carbon footprint through an online tool accessed via a QR code scan.

Solutions House – a collaboration between Futerra, Google, and The Exponential Roadmap Initiative – is a live and online event space during Climate Week NYC, hosting over 20 sessions on issues including sustainability in TV and film production.  A series of seven mock movie posters is on display across the city that drive awareness of interesting, timely conversation.
